I had so much fun on my mini-tour
with Howard Jones!!!!!!! He is an amazing performer & songwriter, and a
wonderful, wonderful person.

July 30, 08 - I recently stopped by Colfax Elementary in Los
Angeles, CA, to sing a couple of songs for kids - it was so much fun!
The kids showed me their little farm where they have a pig, chickens,
sheep, and other fun animals!! I hope the kids had as great a time as
I did!

Last month in my newsletter I mentioned that I had
lost my favorite necklace which I bought in Paris for only 10 euros -
but it was very cute & I wore it every day. The next day I got an
email from a very sweet person who offered to make me a new,
custom-made necklace - with my signature flower on it!! I got it
in the mail last week, and it's absolutely wonderful. I simply can't
believe how nice it was of Tim (the owner of this fine-crafted jewelry
company) to do this. I'm just blown away!!

Today
I attended the screening of "FALLEN IDOL: THE YURI
GAGARIN CONSPIRACY" in Hollywood.
I co-wrote the theme song (Gagarin March) with composer David Raiklen. I also helped
conduct the choir during the recording of the march and I also sang some ethereal vocals for another song
in the film.
I am very excited to be a part of this project!

Theatre on Tues (scroll down for pics) and....
my new album, Modern Fairytale,
is officially released!!! I'm so incredibly excited!!! I am very, very proud of this
CD, and I want the world to hear it!!!

Let's see. Lots of new things
going on!!!
- I recently joined SESAC, a performing rights organization with
headquarters in Nashville and offices in New York, Los Angeles, and
London. Very exciting!

- 3 of my songs have been licensed to Facebook Diaries, the Actual Reality TV/Comcast/Facebook.com project!
- 3 of my songs have been licensed to a
very cool independent film by Ron Garrett, portraying the life of a
few homeless people in Santa Monica. "There But For The Grace of
God" is a really moving documentary. Will let you know more info soon!
- I co-wrote the theme song (a march) with David Raiklen for the
upcoming documentary about Yuri Gagarin (the first man in space),
which will hit the theatres in the spring. It's narrated by the
wonderful actor, Elliott Gould and directed by Dr. Elliott Haimoff.
- I just found out that I will be performing at the NACA Nationals showcase in St Louis in February 2008. It's a big honor to be chosen to perform at NACA Nationals, as hundreds upon hundreds of artists submit each year and only a few get chosen. Many thanks to my college booking agency, Degy Entertainment.
